For those who would like to experience the Francshhoek wine tram, and see more of the Cape wine regions, we have booked a group experience on Friday 3rd Jan.

We will ensure we have the tram and vineyards booked for the wedding party, however we are kindly requesting guests cover the cost of the wine tram, lunch and tasting at their own expense. The three vineyard visits, with wine tasting and lunch, should cost approximately R750 / £32.00 per head.

This wine tram route is the Private Wine Tram Group Experience: GROOT DRAKENSTEIN 2 which we have already reserved. Following the final vineyard we will arrange transfers from Allee Bleue to Zorgvliet De Vliet Country Bistro for the welcome dinner.

The group route would include three venues:

Start @ 11:35 am at the GROOT DRAKENSTEIN 2 Terminal
11:20 am – Arrive at Groot Drakenstein Terminal to collect tickets.

11:35 am – Depart from Groot Drakenstein Terminal to Plaisir.

11:46 am – Arrive at Plaisir (Enjoy lunch)

02:00 pm – Depart from Plaisir to Boschendal

02:15 pm – Arrive at Boschendal (Enjoy wine tasting)

03:45 pm – Depart from Boschendal to Allee Bleue

04:00 pm – Arrive at Allee Bleue (Enjoy wine tasting)

05:20 pm – Depart from Allee Bleue to Groot Drakenstein Terminal

05:30 pm – Arrive at Groot Drakenstein Terminal - Shuttle service to Zorgvliet Bistro for the welcome dinner.
